Types	Qualifications	Available Jobs
Teachers with MA Degree	Can be employed in private or public universities and colleges. Can be employed as lecturer and above.
Possess Teaching License	Can be employed at all public or private schools. Based on education department’s recent focus on English education, the demand for certified teachers is growing.
Basic Qualifications	Based on the rules outlined by the ministry of Education, all English teachers must origin from the six English speaking countries and possess a BA, or 2-year college with TESL/TEFL/CELTA certification.
ABC/CBC (American/Canadian Born Chinese)	Often bilingual in Chinese and English and they have an easier time dealing with cultural differences so are more stable with foreign teachers.
